Bullock Creek grad finishes third in his age group
Midland’s Derek Camilleri completed the North Country Trail Ultra Marathon in Manistee recently, running 50 miles through hilly, wooded terrain in his first organized race.
Camilleri, 31, finished third in the Male 30-34 division with a time of 11:55:35.9 and finishing behind only Ludington’s Jared Lauber (7:31:07.7) and Chris Conrad (7:56:37.0) in his age group.
A graduate of Bullock Creek, Camilleri is an engineer at Hemlock Semiconductor.
