The Midland County Emergency Food Pantry Network is very grateful for the 3,355 pounds of meat donated by nine local businesses which purchased animals from 14 youth at this year’s Midland County Fair auction. The frozen meat filled two new commercial upright freezers that were donated recently by a generous supporter of EFPN, a chest freezer and a partially-filled chest freezer. The packages of meat will be distributed to people in Midland County who receive free food from the network.
